Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital has received Chest Pain Center with PCI accreditation from the American College of Cardiology. Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center certification is reserved for hospitals that meet standards set by The Joint Commission for being a leader in the identification, intervention and treatment of stroke care for patients. Certified primary stroke centers consistently set a higher standard of care for stroke patients. To our hospital team, it’s an important accomplishment. What to Expect in our Emergency Department

As a patient, you will be cared for by staff trained to respond to any type of medical emergency. We understand a visit to the ER can be a very stressful time, especially with a national health pandemic like COVID-19; therefore, you should expect us to communicate with you and guide you through your situation. You should always ask questions if you do not understand.
